About Us
Meet TCF Family

Over the years, I’ve come to realize that we’ve built something with an unwritten set of beliefs. The money we raise is always a bonus, but TCF has never really been about the money. It’s about showing up for people when they need it the most, and bringing a community together to stand shoulder to shoulder in a fight that touches all of us.

Over the past 20 years, we’ve somehow assembled a group of about 50 relentless, never-back-down volunteers who give hundreds of hours every single year. We call them the TCF Family.

Every one of them has their own reason for showing up, and their own story about who they’ve lost or who they’re fighting for. But what’s incredible is that they’ve stuck with it. Year after year.

Somewhere along the way, this group became so much more than an event team. They became a support system. They became the people we can lean on. And most importantly to me, they’ve become some of the best friends anyone could ever hope to have.

Every single one of them is here because cancer touched their life in some way. Someone they loved. Someone they lost. Someone they’re still fighting for. I’ve never hugged, laughed or cried with a group more.

They use their anger, their loss, to add fuel to their fire to keep showing up.

Not for recognition.
Not for credit.

But to help other families going though what they have been through.

That’s the TCF Family, and I’m so proud to stand next to them in this fight.

Thanks for supporting us idiots and our fight against cancer,

~ Chris (and always Jamie)
